Comeback

Hello everyone, the blog is about something other than making a comeback or anything. I just gave the title as it has been a long since I wrote one. This blog isn't really about any specific topic or subject. I'm just writing things that pop up in my head as this year has been full of new learnings and I have been thinking about every event that came up in my life or around me and evaluating why people or situations act or come in our way, is there really a meaning about everything that we experience. The first thing that pops up in my mind right now is the market correction that we all are witnessing right now. FIIs are taking out money, and there's a lot of panic in the minds of INVESTORS, I have written investors in caps because it's ironic and funny as the investors are supposed to stay in the market for a long time and they should be able to digest a bit of a fall to take the advantage of Rupee Cost Averaging in their investments (for those who don't know the c...

Take no Offense, People.

Would you feel frustrated if someone yelled at you for something that you haven't done? or Tell me this Would you feel frustrated if you deserved a slap (metaphorically) but someone knocked you across the room? If your answer is yes and trust me 99% of the people's answer generally is (me included). Now, why does this happen? It's because we were not treated in the way we thought we will. We thought the world should treat us nicely because we are nice to everyone. Now, that might not be the case. I know karma is a real thing but we pretty much get challenging situations with someone's behavior from time to time. So, what to do in situations like this? Should we not believe in Karma and be an asshole to everyone because you know, they are the same way as us? No. There's this quote by one of the great authors, named Mark Manson -  "If you expect honesty and kindness from someone to whom you are kind then you're not kind, you're just doing a transaction an...

Preserving Peace.

Image
Wholeness, righteousness, and prosperity, are the words that mean peace. Only a few people have it and only a few know the real meaning of peace. Peace is the feeling when a person feels whole. The feeling of living in harmony with oneself. Achieving peace is an inward process rather than an outward one. People who look for peace in the outer world are mostly incorrect. He never will find it as true peace is found within. One can spread peace by giving out good and positive energy. But for that, he must be at peace within. Everything starts from within. There are ways to find or achieve true peace in life. The Stoics have suggested many ways to achieve true peace, some of them are as below -  Stillness is one of the most effective ways to achieve peace. Stillness means sitting alone in a silent environment without doing anything but connecting with oneself. Spending a very short amount of time alone in quite a place can reduce a lot of stress. Nothing can be more beneficial for you...

Signs that people are good for your mental health.

Gratitude is one of the most powerful things for a person to be happy. Now, gratitude doesn't only mean thanking god for all the good things that happen in your life but also thanking people around you who are good for your mental health and people who really care for you and uplift you. They can be anyone, your friends, family, teacher, or anyone. We think that it's a very small thing to say thanks or be thankful for them being helpful but trust me those little things which we think are little aren't really little. Great people who truly care about you are very rare. There are signs by which you can know who are those people and it is very important to know them to actually be thankful for them.  1. Respecting emotions -  We can't have good relations with someone whose emotions or feelings we don't respect. Respecting someone's emotions helps them be comfortable around us. To be in a healthy relationship with someone, we need to respect their feelings and not j...

The Eren Yeager Way! (don't judge by the name, read it on)

The topic for today's blog might be confusing by reading the title of the blog, it's related to something that is very hard for humans to achieve and very important to achieve - FREEDOM. Now, when we talk about freedom, it's not about saying anything that comes in our mind or doing anything that affects another person. Let me make it clear that freedom is doing anything that doesn't affect any other person in any manner. This blog can also be taken as a written summary of a book name 'What is takes to be free?' by Darius Foroux. I have recently completed this book (within 5 days, haha) and thought of writing the summary of the same. It's nicely written and the author has given practical ways and thoughts to achieve freedom. Now, I am not going to list out every point but will go and write about several of my favorite ones. Read it on or not it's up to you, you're FREE.  1. This world shall know PAIN -  The first one in the list is pain. We often run...

Abloom your Anxiety.

Image
Hey guys, today I'm going to write about one of the most common topics or problems that are 'failing at dealing with anxiety.' Now we all get anxious from time to time and the reason for that can be anything from not getting enough sleep or due to our finances or maybe going to gatherings of people (not my cup of tea as well). Now to deal with it, figure out what's making us anxious and then read down to what Yash has written (thank you). Now, I do not have a degree in human psychology or anything but the thing I have is knowledge given by one of the best philosophers in history known as Stoic Philosophers.  Let us see what some of them have to say about Anxiety -  1. "Man is not worried by real problem as much as he is about the imagined problems"   - Epictetus  He is trying to explain that we suffer more in imagination than in reality. We tend to create crappy situations about something that has yet to happen that sometimes turns out to be a good thing. It...

that's what THEY said..!

Hello there, I'm here after a long time with a unique blog that I've not written before. What I've done is collected some thoughts/quotes from different places and written about their description or explanation. This time, will not write much of the introduction and will get to the POINT.  1. Wealth is quite, rich is loud and poor is flashy. This quote is dedicated to major part of the society as it relates with people having different mindsets. By reading it we might think it's about money but it's not, it's about the mindset. It says the truly wealthy person will never show off his/her wealth or the things he owns whereas the so called rich or poor will buy things they can't afford and will show them off to people whon they don't like. 2. Nothing is more honorable than a grateful heart. I've come to know about the importance gratitude holds in one's life and from personal experience I can tell that gratitude is truly important. It makes one tru...
