Effective Reading

Introduction –  “Reading gives us place to go when we have to stay where we are.” – Mason Cooley. Reading has a lot of benefits. Reading helps us strengthen our brain and increases empathy. It also helps building vocabulary. Reading helps in reducing stress and alleviates depression. It also helps us improve our focus and concentration.  We know the benefits of reading but due to many reasons we don’t have or keep time for reading in our daily activities. We surely should have a habit of reading daily. There are many ways of effective reading such as –  1. Divide and conquer : This means giving starting with giving just a small amount of time in reading. One can set a goal of 10-15 pages a day and increase afterwards. This takes only 15 minutes a day so anyone can spare it. Once you start by 15 minutes you can increase it accordingly.  2.
