Enemies of innovation
Today I would like to describe some of the enemies of innovation. These are the points which doesn't let us grow.
1. Desire to please all -
This is a burning problem, we have strong desire to please everyone and prove ourselves to others which is not at all important. We spend most of the time thinking what others think about us and how to please them. This is an enemy of innovation. We need to realize that what people think about us is not at all important. The important thing is what we think of ourselves and what we do.
2. Big egos-
Second point is having ego. I don't know why people have this, i mean if you do something and are great at something than it's okay. You don't constantly need to show off about it. And may be sometime a person tells you something that doesn't mean that it is true, you don't have to hurt your ego and fight with them. If you do this then you'll never stop fighting and will not be able to achieve anything.
3. Self doubt -
Another enemy of innovation is self doubt. We all do that at some point of situation. Weather it's less marks in an examination or some kind of faliure. Many people doubts themselves before even doing anything. They think they are not smart or talented enough to do the particular work. We really need to stop doubting ourselves.
4. Fear of faliure -
Everyone fears faliure and due to that fear they don't do risky things. They sit back and fears about failing and not doing anything. I mean if you fail no one's gonna kill you, you just need to learn and move on. Bill Gates didn't started Microsoft on his first try, Zukerburg didn't started facebook in one try, Coco Cola sold only 19 bottles in their first year. If they would have gave up then there would be no Microsoft or Facebook. The point is don't fear faliure, do things and achieve success and if you fail then accept the faliure, learn from it and move on.
5. Impatience -
Another enemy is being impatient. You need to accept the fact that nothing significant is going to happen in years. You need to be patient and follow the process. Also Rome wasn't buil in one day so be patient and enjoy the process. I mean it took 45 years for Warren Buffet to become a Billionaire and you want to earn and be wealthy in one year? You need to re-think.
So these were the major enemies that comes in our way of innovation. We need to overcome them so that we can think of innovative ideas and become Successful.
