How to deal with Anxiety.
Hey Guys, hope you all are doing great in these challenging time. These are challenging times and made most of us very anxious. Now this is natural to feel anxious in these situations. I myself was very anxious seeing the situation out there but I decided to change myself and deal with anxiety. Now the most effective way to deal with anxiety is developing a morning routine. Morning routine massively helps in reducing the anxiety. Morning routine not only helps in reducing anxiety but also in developing confidence. I have always heard about the morning routines of great people like Bill Gates, Elon Musk, etc and how a productive morning routine helped them in feeling energized. So this is kind of a good routine which you can develop.
1. Wake up early -
This is the first thing you should do. Waking up early gives you a plenty of time to do your morning routine peacefully. There is no disturbance in the morning and you can slowly do your tasks one by one. Also waking up early gives you time to perfectly plan out your day. Waking up early gives you more self time for reading and exercise as you do not have to rush into things. Rushing into things makes you tensed and anxious.
2. Make your bed -
Now I was also pretty much shocked by reading this in the morning routine of great people. But turns out making your bed gives you confidence. Now all these years I was myself not making my bed, but by reading this I also made my mind and started making my bed in the morning. Completion of such small tasks gives you confidence. And no matter how your day was the other day, you can still make you bed and it kind of is a success. It gives you satisfaction.
3. Meditate or Pray -
Now this is a very effective way of dealing with anxiety. Meditation or Prayer makes your soul peaceful. It brings so much healings in your life. It helps in organizing your thoughts and can also help in finding solution to your problems. The goal of meditation is to organize your thoughts and be aware about the same. Practicing meditation or gratitude or prayer can bring a large change into your life. It contains magical power to heal yourself.
4. Take a cold Shower -
Now we might think how can a cold shower can help us to deal with anxiety. But it turns out it can. There are great benefits of taking cold showers. It improves circulation and toning of skin. Studies have found that cold showers can reduce anxiety and can also prevent depression. Taking cold shower also helps you to feel fresh in the morning.
5. Go for a walk -
Going for a walk or having some exercise helps your body a lot. Not having any stress about rushing to work and going for a peaceful walk is the best thing that can happen to you. It helps you to improve your mood and makes blood circulation good. This is the a good thing to keep on your routine. Also, going for the walk with keeping your mobile phone at home is like a cherry on top of the cake.
6. Journaling or Making Affirmations -
Now, Journaling can help you a lot. It not only helps you reduce your anxiety but also make you realise about your day or how you want to spend your day ahead. Also, affirmations help you a lot. Morning affirmations have a great effect on your subconscious mind. Affirmations can be about any field, i.e Health, wealth, relationships, etc. Slowly these affirmations seems real to your subconscious mind and then you just have to wait for those to get true.
7. Gratitude -
Gratitude is very powerful and it can bring miracles into people's' life. Being grateful brings abundance into your life. It is said that life becomes beautiful if you see good things happening around you. God gave us 86400 seconds in a day, have we taken one and said thank you to him? If you are not grateful for the things that you have, how will universe/god give you more? Think of yourself, if you helped a person a little and he didn't thank you, will you help him next time? The answer is certainly not. Hence, we always should be grateful for everything that we have in our life.
8. MIT -
The MIT stands for - Most Important Things. In the morning we need to figure out the 3 most important things that we have to do ahead in the day. By figuring this we become aware about the important tasks that we have to do. Every morning make the list of 3 tasks that are important and to be completed. By doing this you get control over your day and calm your mind.
Now this can be a roadmap to decrease your anxiety. It helps me a lot and it will help you too. Morning routine is very important as your day is dependent on how your morning is. Elon Musk says that - 'If you think that your day is awesome in the morning then there is a strong possibility that your day will be great'. Here it says that if you feel good in the morning, your day will be good and if you feel anxious in the morning then the tables might turn around. The above mentioned things will surely help you reduce anxiety and make you feel great. Try them out and share your experience about the same.
